The college gallery is dedicated to sustaining and promoting contemporary art and visual culture through exhibitions and programming, which creates a stimulating environment conducive to learning and creative expression.  Also, they provide local and statewide leadership in the exhibition of contemporary art through regional, national, and international exhibitions.

Since 1997, RiverSea Gallery has been at the heart of the arts renaissance in Astoria, Oregon. The gallery is located in a 1920’s storefront in the downtown historic district. In addition to their regular offerings, they present monthly exhibitions featuring individual artists or themed group shows. Throughout the year the gallery hosts poetry readings, receptions, and special events tied to the creativity and spirit of the region.

Claude & Chris have over 16 years of experience in their craft and now work from their soft glass blowing studio in the historic Fort George area with views of Astoria's waterfront on the Columbia River. They are open to the public for glass demonstrations and sales during business hours, while producing affordable, functional art for your enjoyment and use. The studio offers classes and is available to rent by the hour.

 

Tempo Gallery

Tempo Gallery is an artist collective. Tempo's eleven members create art in numerous mediums from oil to photography, watercolors, jewelry making, and printmaking. The gallery shares their space with the yearly Astoria Music Festival.

LightBox Photographic Gallery is a center for promoting creative and alternative photography on the North Coast of Oregon. They exhibit a diversity of photographic styles and processes and educate in these techniques and methods, while encouraging the continued use of film, traditional photographic methods, and historical alternative processes. Their curators also recognize the finest works in digital photography and host member meetings every other Wednesday to discuss photography as fine art. The gallery offers fine art printing and dark room rental on site.

 

KALA at Hipfish Monthly

KALA is the ground floor presentation space below the upper loft production office of Hipfish Monthly, the Columbia Pacific Region's free alternative monthly newspaper. KALA features monthly exhibits in a dedicated gallery space in conjunction with live stage performances of poetry, theater, and music.

 

Lovell Showroom at Fort George Brewery

The Lovell Brewery + Taproom was originally built to house the Lovell Auto Co.  As many Astorian business owners were out of a storefront during the 1922 fire, the building transformed into the Lovell Arcade and Theater until the city was able to build back up. It has again become a community gathering space for public talks from educators, monthly art exhibits, and fundraising events.
